Ways to Use Workbooks

Here are just some of the ways our customers are making the most of our workbooks.

  • Workbooks are being used in classrooms from preschool through 12th grade since they provide compelling, interactive, motivational content for students to learn about topics that are important for their health, safety, and academic development.
  • Workbooks are also being used in youth groups dedicated to giving participants life-management skills, such as choosing careers, making good choices, and managing stress and anger.
  • Schools and organizations enjoy having a complete, ready-to-use set of lessons to use along with the workbooks to simplify presenting them as curriculum activities and to make it especially easy for substitute teachers and guidance counselors to present the information.
  • Some schools are using workbooks as "subscriptions" for students, and are providing them every month or two to supplement textbooks and other curriculum.
  • Schools are using the compelling transition and study skills workbooks to help students get off to a great start and minimize academic problems and drop-out rates.
  • Workbooks are being handed out directly to youth for independent use at health fairs.
  • Health-department, police, and public-safety speakers who visit schools, after-school programs, Boys & Girls Clubs, etc., for community-outreach efforts are distributing workbooks to children and teens to reinforce important health and safety messages.
